Standin’ on the High Line
Watchin’ rain on the river
Too many nights now
Guess nothin’s forever
Ships pass in the night
Words go unspoken
And what we have
Is it too broken?
Whatever happened to the love we used to share?
Is it still there?
And in the end do we really care?
Remember the times when
Everythin’ was alright
Our hearts were on fire
We stayed up all night
Life was so easy
Our love was meant to be
Something changed, now
Agree to disagree
Whatever happened to the dreams we used to share?
Are they still there?
And in the end do we really care?
You can’t swim against the tide
And all the things you’ve tried
But the doubt is there inside
You can run but you can’t hide
Need a different viewpoint
Take our time
Go California dreamin’
Try another coastline
Hopin’ we can find
What we’re looking for
Through stormy weather
To a peaceful shore
Whatever happened to the love we used to share?
Is it still there?
And in the end do we really care?
Walking on the High Line
Can we swim against the tide?
Make it work this time
And all the things we’ve tried
Lookin’ for a lifeline
But the doubt is there inside
We’re gonna be just fine
We can run but we can’t hide
…all the feelings from yourself
The future is ours, if
We believe in our love
We can make a brand-new start
In our life and our hearts
Not apart
But together
The future is ours, if
We believe in our love
We can make a brand-new start
In our life and our hearts
Not apart
Always together

The string ensemble is a great addition, especially on Brooklands. Now you'll have to sacrifice to the prog tradition and have a concert with a symphonic orchestra. And I'll have to fly to London to see it! Can't wait to see you in NJ! annapolis-sunrise

This is the most beautiful symphonic progressive music I have heard since I first heard Yes' Magnification nearly 20 years ago. Robert Reed's orchestrations are magnificent, and are very much on par with Trevor Rabin's film scores as well as Larry Groupe's score for Magnification. I am a french horn player, and his soaring horn parts are some of the best I have ever heard.
For some reason I could not select Part1: Sacrifice as my favorite track. It is indeed my favorite. luckeydoug1
